Job summary

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable General Labor / Hi-Lo Driver to support daily warehouse operations in Romulus, MI. This role blends general labor with operating a Hi-Lo forklift to move, load, unload, and organize products throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will be safety‑conscious, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position is full-time with a 3rd shift (11:30pm–8:30am) and pays $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hi-Lo/forklift experience required.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labor preferred.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Ability to stand and perform physical labor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

General Labor / Hi-Lo Driver Location: Romulus, MI Shift: 3rd 1130pm-830am Pay: $18 an hour Job Type: Full-Time

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labor / Hi-Lo Driver to assist with daily warehouse operations. This position combines general warehouse duties with operating a Hi-Lo/forklift to move, load, unload, and organize products throughout the facility.The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and have previous Hi-Lo/forklift experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Hi-Lo/forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments
• Move products to designated warehouse and storage locations
• Assist with picking, staging, and preparing orders for shipment
• Perform general labor and warehouse duties as needed
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming materials
• Maintain accurate product placement and inventory organization
• Wrap, stack, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies
• Assist other warehouse team members as needed

Qualifications

• Previous Hi-Lo/forklift experience required
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable performing physical and repetitive work
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a reliable warehouse worker who is willing to perform both Hi-Lo and hands‑on general labor duties. This is not strictly a forklift position; employees should be comfortable getting off the Hi-Lo and assisting with warehouse tasks wherever needed.
