This position performs a variety of basic grounds maintenance work, to include lawn and athletic field care; construction and repair of grounds and grounds facilities; planting, transplanting, pruning, fertilizing, and spraying pesticides to control weeds, insects, and other pests; concrete mixing and installation; asphalt repair and installation; drainage system maintenance and installation; playground repair and construction; and other grounds-related work. This position operates a wide variety of equipment and vehicles as necessary to perform job duties.
Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary. The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) provides access to health care services. Our benefits are provided to eligible positions through SEBB (School Employees Benefits Board). Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year.
