The Transportation Training Technician Assistant evaluates school bus drivers, delivers training to school bus drivers, and delivers training to school bus driver trainees. This position assists the Transportation Training Technician in leading and coordinating the District's school bus driver training program. This position delivers new and ongoing driver training in support of safe transportation in compliance with law and regulation. Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar. Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary. FLSA Status: Non-exempt. Hourly Rate: $52.14per hour(2026-2027Professional - Technical Employee Salary Schedule)[Effective Sept. 1, 2026]. Position Type/Level: Professional - Technical Employee Level E.
Education and Experience:
One or more (1+) years of work experience in training, evaluating, professional development, compliance, or a related field
