Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a field supervision professional in Nashville, TN to manage crews, assign equipment, and ensure safe, compliant execution of tree care projects. You will oversee hiring and training, maintain records, and investigate incidents while driving high service standards for our clients.

This permanent, full-time role requires a valid driver's license and a proactive approach to safety, training, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors
• Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: CDL-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other tree work
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional

What You’ll Do:

• Manage, direct and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work by:
• Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work
• Understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules
• Maintain accurate records of required work
• Oversee the hiring and training of all Davey employees in territory
• Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate management
• Every day there’s something new to do!
