The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Foreman/Foreperson for utility line clearance on-site in Nashville, TN. You will supervise crews performing line pruning, trimming, and removal work for major electric utilities, ensuring safe operation of tools and equipment and efficient task execution.

Ideal candidates have line clearance experience, applicable licenses/certifications, and a strong safety mindset. The role offers advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred depending on job requirements.
• Certificates and Licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license may be required by state law.
• Herbicide license is a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.
• Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers.
• Prunes treetops, repairs damaged trees by trimming/removal, and removes broken limbs from wires, roofs, etc.
• Directs crew members and equipment and plans/executes assigned work/tasks.
• Supervises and assists in maintenance, preparation, and operation of tools/equipment including chainsaws and aerial lifts.
• Operates as part of a crew with Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber.

Position Overview

The Davey Company, is pleased to offer a key opportunity in the field of Utility Line Clearance as a Foreman/Foreperson.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers
• Services provided include pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects
• Directs crew members and equipment as well as planning and executing the assigned work and tasks
• Responsible to supervise and assist in the proper maintenance, preparation and operation of all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber
