Davey Tree Surgery Co. seeks a dynamic general foreperson to lead outdoor electrical facility maintenance crews across the Nashville area. Your office is outdoors, with a fresh view each day, as you supervise crew leaders and field personnel while ensuring safety and company policies are followed.

The role emphasizes organizing crews, equipment, and training, with responsibilities for hiring and developing talent within the territory and reporting incidents to management.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: CDL-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate management
