Job summary

Exelon Corporation seeks a General Engineer to lead and support engineering across electric and gas infrastructure, transmission, substations and related systems, developing solutions, managing technical deliverables and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will perform moderate- to high-complexity engineering tasks, coordinate cross-functional teams, evaluate performance and outages, and help improve safety, reliability and efficiency while collaborating with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or PE license.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• Knowledge of complex field test equipment.
• 4-7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Broad knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes and practices.
• Two related career experiences or Engineer in Training (EIT) status.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments of moderate complexity, exercising independent judgment under supervision.
• Leads small engineering projects or tasks with cross-functional coordination.
• Provides technical support and consultation to engineering and operating groups.
• Participates in evaluation and improvement of technical systems and processes.
