Qualifications

• . Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years in lieu of degree.
• . Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• . Knowledge and ability to apply problem-solving approaches.
• . Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• . Knowledge of complex field test equipment.
• . Broad knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform routine assignments.
• . The equivalent relevant education / experience requirement is in addition to the position's minimum experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assignments for complex projects and manage contractors.
• Perform assignments where precedents are incomplete.
• Evaluate, develop and implement projects with significant financial and operational impact.
• May serve as an expert and provide training.
• Perform assignments independently and may lead multi-discipline teams.
• Provide recommendations and cost improvement actions.
• Participate in technical societies and committees to stay current.
