Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a general dentist to join our patient-first practice. The role encompasses the full patient experience from exam to therapy, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules (2–5 days/week, 8am–5pm) with compensation up to 36% of collections and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision coverage, 401K, and continuing education

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education courses and professional development

Education
