Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to join our team. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Earn up to 36% of collections and enjoy CE opportunities.

Part-time or full-time roles available; 8AM-5PM, 2-5 days per week. Benefits include health insurance, dental/vision, 401K, and continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
