Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Earn up to 36% of collections with a flexible schedule (2–5 days/week, 8am–5pm).

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
