Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist for Torrington, CT, offering 2-5 days per week and 8 AM–5 PM. Earn up to 36% of collections with a path to comprehensive patient care across in-office specialties.

This role emphasizes patient education, high-quality care, and ongoing professional development. We provide health insurance with optional HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, continuing education, and opportunities to advance with Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
