Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a General Counsel for Digital Technology & Global Security to counsel the CIO, CSO, and CDAIO on cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, and AI. You will shepherd regulatory compliance, policy governance, and risk management across enterprise tech initiatives.

You will lead the AI governance program, monitor evolving AI laws (EU Act, GDPR, NIST), and serve as Chief Privacy Officer, guiding incident response and regulatory disclosures while collaborating with senior leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber/privacy/technology law and regulatory regimes.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and Board on risk matters.
• Experience creating governance frameworks and policy guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal legal advisor to CIO, CISO, and CDAIO on cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, and AI matters.
• Lead AI governance program in partnership with CDAIO and establish acceptable-use standards.
• Drive AI regulatory readiness by monitoring laws and standards (EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST).
