Job summary

RW Mercer Co. is seeking a Site Superintendent for general contracting to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure work proceeds per plans and specs.

The role requires coordinating subcontractors, managing labor and schedule, and enforcing safety and quality on site. Candidates should have at least 5 years of construction experience and a high school diploma, with a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older and possess High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Must have 5 years of construction or restoration experience.
• Clean driving record and eligible to operate a motor vehicle (CDL license, if possible, by not required)

Responsibilities

• Site supervision of RWM and subcontractor crews.
• Ensure safety by conducting safety meetings with PM and Field Operations Manager.
• Review job schedule and cost breakdown before start.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors per schedule.
• Manage subcontractor accountability and adherence to plans.
• Oversee on-site construction activities and communications with Project Manager.
