Jacobs in Wilson, NC is hiring a General Superintendent to lead daily scheduling and site planning, ensuring the right materials, equipment and people are in place to get the job done safely and efficiently.

You will leverage your 8+ years of construction site experience and track record as a foreman, superintendent or construction manager to guide teams, manage design/pre-construction tasks, and build strong client relationships while upholding Jacobs' standards for safety and quality.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• 8 + years of construction site experience
• 8 + years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required

Ideally, you'll also have

• Pharma experience
• Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
• Excellent communications skills
• Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
• Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
• Attend constructability reviews
• Safety leader (JHA's revision / daily signed off permits)
• Quality in construction

The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
