Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced General Superintendent in Wilson, NC to lead daily scheduling and site planning, ensuring materials, equipment and staff are ready to drive project success. You will champion safety and mentor your team while coordinating with owners and designers to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• 8 + years of construction site experience
• 8 + years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required

Ideally, you'll also have

• Pharma experience
• Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
• Excellent communications skills
• Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
• Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
• Attend constructability reviews
• Safety leader (JHA's revision / daily signed off permits)
• Quality in construction

The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
