Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is hiring an Area Construction Superintendent Manager in Wilson, NC. You will lead daily scheduling and planning at the project site, coordinating materials, equipment, and crew to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

With 15+ years of site experience and 10+ years in senior supervision, you’ll drive coordination across planning, design and commissioning while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of construction site experience.
• 10+ years as general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
• Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scheduling and planning at the project site.
• Ensure the right materials, equipment and people are available to get the job done.
• Prioritize safety, health and well‑being of the team and the planet.
• Coordinate walkdowns, meetings and constructability reviews with owners and designers.

Here’s what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalence years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 15 years of construction site experience
• At least 10 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
• Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
• Excellent communications skills
• Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
• Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
• Attend constructability reviews
• Safety leader (JHA’s revision / daily signed off permits)

The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
