Job summary

Jacobs in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a highly experienced Civil Structural Architectural Construction Superintendent to lead on-site scheduling, planning and coordination, ensuring the right materials, equipment and teams are in place to deliver projects safely and on time.

You will oversee safety, health and environmental practices, foster team development, and drive collaboration with owners, designers and contractors to meet program goals across pharma/gmp facilities and clean rooms.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of construction site experience.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
• Pharma experience / GMP facilities / clean rooms.

Here's what you'll need

• At least 10 years of construction site experience
• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required

Ideally, you’ll also have

• At least 10 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
• Pharma experience / GMP facilities / clean rooms
• Collaborate in planning, design, construction and commissioning
• Excellent communications skills
• Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
• Create estimates, client presentations, timelines, staffing plans, project execution plan, construction
• Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
• Constructability reviews
• Lead client and construction meetings.
• Multidiscipline knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, IC, CSA)
• Safety leader (JHA’s revision / SPA daily signed off permits)
• QA construction
• Turn over process including TOP’s, punch list and walkdowns with contractors and owners.

Salary

The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $152,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
