Rutgers University–New Jersey Medical School in Newark seeks a General Anesthesiologist for a full-time Assistant Professor, Non-Tenure Track. Responsibilities include on-site anesthesia for adults, resident teaching, and research participation. Eligibility includes MD, NJ licensure, and BC/BE status. Qualifications

• Qualified applicants must have a medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Be a BC/BE Anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital and other operating suites.
• Provide intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents.
• Participate in Faculty Development and skill/knowledge acquisition activities.
• Participate and promote research that forwards the discipline academically and clinically.
• Complete all medical records within 7 days of service and all charge submissions within 14 days.
• Complete Medicare time studies or other required documentation as outlined for the program.
