The Atlantic District in Denton, MD, is seeking a General Agency Principal to lead our local team and shape office culture. You will mentor staff, refine service approaches, and strengthen carrier partnerships to secure optimal coverage options for clients.

With a focus on community impact, you will drive revenue growth, oversee operations, and represent the agency at regional events. A seasoned leader with licensing in property/casualty and life/health is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
• Five or more years of leadership experience within an independent insurance agency.
• Deep understanding of insurance carrier relationships and underwriting appetites.
• Documented history of driving revenue growth and managing agency operations.
• Excellent rapport-building skills with both staff and insurance carriers.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of our Denton office, ensuring every process runs smoothly and effectively.
• Mentor and guide our sales team, helping them refine their skills and reach their professional goals.
• Cultivate and strengthen key relationships with our insurance carrier partners to secure the best coverage options for our clients.
• Analyze sales metrics and operational performance to identify new ways we can better serve our community.
• Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives that align with our long-term vision for the agency.
• Represent The Atlantic District at local networking events and industry gatherings to expand our footprint in the region.
