Job summary

Databricks is seeking a senior AI Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver GenAI solutions and production rollouts for customers. You will collaborate across product and engineering to influence the roadmap and act as a technical advisor on complex deployments.

The role embraces customer interaction and travel as needed. Ideal candidates have hands-on GenAI experience, RAG, multi-agent systems, and Text2SQL, with strong cloud deployment skills on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• GenAI apps: build, evaluate, and deploy.
• Experience with RAG, multi-agent systems, and Text2SQL.
• Experience deploying production GenAI on cloud platforms.
• Strong data science skills in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willing to travel 4–8 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using Databricks AI research.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to influence roadmap.
• Present at Data + AI Summit and other forums.
