Job summary

Databricks is seeking a seasoned AI Forward Deployed Engineering professional to design and deliver GenAI solutions for enterprise customers. You will own production rollouts, serve as a trusted technical advisor, and collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps.

This role is customer-facing, remote-friendly, and may require periodic on-site visits in the DC/Maryland/Virginia corridor. Applicants should have hands-on experience building GenAI apps (RAG, multi-agent systems,

Qualifications

Experience building GenAI applications, including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning, etc.
Expertise in deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimizations.
Extensive hands-on data science experience with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.
Experience building production-grade ML deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences alike

Responsibilities

Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions, incorporating the latest techniques from Databricks AI research to solve customer problems
Own production rollouts of consumer and internally facing GenAI applications
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across a variety of domains
Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit, recognized as a thought leader
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap
