Job summary

Amazon seeks a GenAI Solution Architect for Global Tax Services to lead AI-driven solution design, discovery, and governance across Tax programs. You will partner with tax professionals and product managers to deliver architected AI solutions from discovery through handover to engineering teams, maintaining a strong emphasis on scalable, auditable, and secure designs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for value-creation initiatives across Tax, defining scalable architectures that align business goals with technical constraints.
• Design agentic workflows for tax processes, including task-level agent responsibilities, human-in-the-loop and escalation models, and agent performance monitoring and evaluation.
• Author and maintain the solution specification library defining what Tax-built AI solutions must do across research quality, reasoning auditability, evaluation coverage, privileged data handling, and security, within governance and engineering standards.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and proof-of-concept activities with tax subject-matter experts.
• Present solution designs and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, adapting communication style accordingly.
