Job summary

Amazon is seeking an SDE II to build the infrastructure layer that connects generative AI to the daily work of Amazon builders. You will design, develop, and test large-scale software and collaborate to shape the vision for our AI-first test tools.

You will mentor junior engineers and work with leaders to grow the testing platforms used by tens of thousands of engineers, delivering capabilities that help ship features faster and with higher quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of distributed software applications, tools, or services development.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience with Java, C#, C++, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document large-scale, multi-tier distributed software applications and services.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver AI-first testing capabilities.
• Collaborate with leaders to shape vision and roadmap for test tools.
• Mentor junior engineers or guide interns.
