Job summary

Amazon seeks a Software Development Engineer II for Programming Foundations (ASBX) to own and evolve core testing platforms at scale. You’ll join a hands-on team building AI-powered testing capabilities and contribute to architectures and roadmaps impacting tens of thousands of engineers at Amazon.

You’ll work with a manager and peers to deliver high-quality software, with a focus on reliability, performance, and developer experience across AWS regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed applications.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical solutions quickly and reliably.
• Build and operate distributed systems at global scale with serverless test orchestration.
• Shape developer experience and tooling through the SDLC.
• Partner with manager and leads on architecture and roadmaps.
• Meet with customers to learn and help achieve goals.
• Maintain high technical and operational excellence.
