U.S. Bank is seeking a Lead Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and operationalize enterprise-scale GenAI solutions. You’ll work across engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex requirements into production-ready AI capabilities aligned with security and risk standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on GenAI expertise (LLMs, RAG), architectural leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, secure AI systems in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software/AI engineering experience.
• 2+ years hands-on GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions at enterprise scale.
• Lead GenAIOps lifecycle: architecture, integration, deployment, monitoring.
• Architect GenAI apps across Azure and AWS, ensuring security and reliability.
• Build microservices in Python, with CI/CD pipelines and secure coding.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.
