Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Lead Software Architect Engineer (Generative AI Platforms) to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to create secure, scalable AI applications across cloud environments, emphasizing governance, observability, and production readiness. The role requires 6–8 years of experience in Generative AI, Python, containers, and cloud-native architectures, with hands-on knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Foundry Agent Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agentic architectures.
• Build AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and related tooling.
• Develop scalable AI applications and microservices using Python and cloud-native patterns.
• Engineer secure AI platforms across Azure and AWS with high availability and compliance.
• Design containerized AI workloads using Docker and Kubernetes; implement IaC with Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
