Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior platform automation engineer to accelerate enterprise adoption of Generative AI, Data Science, and Analytics capabilities. You will design, build, and operationalize automated platform services spanning infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, governance, observability, and AI workload enablement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, automation, cloud, DevOps, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven experience building self-service enterprise AI/ML platforms and analytics workloads.
• Strong expertise in automation, CI/CD, IaC, and software delivery lifecycle automation.
• Deep understanding of modern Generative AI architectures and developer tooling.
• Experience with Atlassian DevOps tools including Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Ensures design and engineering approach for complex features aligns with the larger portfolio solution.
• Defines technology tool stack and evaluates new testing frameworks for teams.
• Enables CI/CD capabilities and coordinates with stakeholders for efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Guides design and best practices for high code performance, code reviews, and pairing.
• Delivers end-to-end complex features for one or more teams at the program level.
• Leads automation initiatives for enterprise GenAI, Data Science, and Analytics platforms.
• Develops IaC solutions with Terraform for repeatable infrastructure deployments.
• Designs enterprise CI/CD pipelines and release management processes using DevOps tools.
• Automates Kubernetes, container, serverless, and distributed environments.
