Job summary

Slalom seeks a technologist to design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions for client problems, including LLM-powered apps and RAG workflows. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and AI thought leaders to deliver impactful projects.

Bring 3+ years producing production ML models, strong Python, and experience across AWS/GCP/Azure. Mentorship and community contribution are valued in this role within Slalom’s Data & AI practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience implementing models or machine learning algorithms into production.
• 2-4 years of professional consulting experience in data/AI.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy generative AI and machine learning solutions that solve business problems and improve how people work.
• Develop LLM-powered applications using RAG, agents, prompt engineering, tool and function calling, workflow automation, and fine-tuning where appropriate.
• Apply ML/DL and related tech to create AI tools addressing real business needs.
• Assist in designing, developing, presenting, and delivering traditional ML solutions (CV, NLP, recommendations, etc.).
• Stay current on AI/ML fundamentals and emerging trends to contribute to solution discussions.
