Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable, cloud-native data pipelines supporting AI and analytics across the enterprise. You will design, implement, and operationalize data solutions, ensuring governance and data quality.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, working on distributed compute with AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake, while mentoring engineers and delivering value at speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field; equivalent education/experience.
• Eight years of related experience and proven data-engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate complex data solutions; ensure data quality and governance.
• Design complex data pipelines and data solutions across platforms.
• Analyze complex data sources to determine value and usage in analytics.
• Incorporate data governance, security, and quality across the stack.
