Job summary

Arkansas State University-Beebe is seeking an Adult Education Test Administrator to oversee GED Ready and Official exams at the Searcy campus. The role involves test administration, scheduling, proctoring, and maintaining secure testing environments.

The candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED and obtain the PearsonVue Certified Test Administrator certificate within two months of employment; an Associate degree is preferred. Evening testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GED Ready & Official exams at ASU-Beebe Searcy campus, including scheduling appointments, test administration, and proctoring all exams.
• Be knowledgeable of current GED testing policies and follow them for all students.
• Maintain the GED computer lab to specifications and keep the room quiet and secure.
• Go over exam results with students and print study guides as needed.
• Inform graduates about commencement ceremony and work with the college in preparing them for graduation.
• Keep Adult Ed inventory records up to date.
• Occasionally work 1-2 evenings per week for testing.
