Job summary

The State of Georgia invites applications for a GED Examiner at Augusta Technical College. You will assist in the administration and proctoring of testing in the Testing Center, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.

Qualifications include an associate degree, the ability to pass the Pearson VUE certification exam, and a valid driver's license with willingness to travel to Georgia correctional facilities. Strong computer, communication, and customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution.
• Must pass the Pearson VUE Test Certification exam.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to Georgia Correctional facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the testing center for testing candidates prior to arrival.
• Check in candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Monitor testing sessions to maintain testing center integrity.
• Follow testing procedures and company policies.
• Troubleshoot issues with Pearson VUE/ETS exam sponsors.
• Complete light housekeeping after each exam.
• Document incidents with the sponsor as required.
• Assist greeting test takers, verify ID, launch tests, monitor sessions, provide results.
• Complete required documentation after each session.
• Maintain confidentiality of assessment results.
