Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a skilled GCP Platform Support Engineer with SRE and CI/CD expertise to ensure reliability of cloud-based applications on GCP.
You will collaborate with development, QA and operations, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor systems, and implement security and IaC practices using Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, and related tools.

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions
- 3+ years experience with SRE principles including monitoring and incident management
- 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools including Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI
- 3+ years experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
- 3+ years experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and with IaC tools (Terraform, Google Deployment Manager)
- 3+ years experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for GCP-based applications and services, ensuring high availability and performance
- Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Bash and IaC tools like Terraform
- Implement security best practices for cloud resources including IAM and encryption
- Monitor and manage cloud resources including VMs, containers, databases and networking
- Design, maintain CI/CD pipelines with GCB, Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Set up monitoring and alerting with Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana
- Participate in incident response and post-mortems to identify root causes
- Apply SRE practices with SLOs, SLIs and error budgets
- Collaborate with development, QA and operations for smooth deployments
- Create and maintain system architecture documentation
