Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) – GCP to guide enterprise customers through Databricks deployments on Google Cloud Platform. This remote role partners with Solutions Architects to design secure, scalable architectures and IaC‑driven deployments.

You will lead technical design, act as SME in GCP infrastructure, networking, identity, and security, and support pre‑sales with PoC content. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical role with deep GCP expertise and enterprise data platform design.
• 5+ years with distributed architectures and big data technologies.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Pre‑Sales, Post‑Sales, or Consulting).
• Knowledge of security, networking, and identity management in GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership through the full lifecycle of Databricks on GCP deployments.
• Design secure, scalable enterprise architectures with a focus on VPCs, Private Service Connect, IAM and compliance.
• Serve as SME in GCP infrastructure, IaC, cloud networking, and identity management.
• Support pre‑sales by building PoC architectures and technical content on GCP.
• Contribute to tutorials, hackathons, conferences, and open‑source community efforts.
