Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) – Azure to guide enterprise customers through Databricks deployments on Microsoft Azure, covering architecture, administration, and security.

This role can be remote; you will partner with Solutions Architects to design production-grade, secure, scalable deployments and contribute to PoC content and Azure automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical role with Azure expertise.
• 5+ years in distributed architectures and big data technologies.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Deep expertise in at least one domain: security, networking, platform administration, or InfraOps.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through architecture, administration, and security of Databricks on Azure.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to design and deploy workloads and PoCs.
• Lead secure, scalable enterprise deployments with Azure networking, identity, and compliance.
• Deliver tutorials, hackathons, and community content to drive platform adoption.
• Support pre-sales during complex technical cycles with Azure-focused content.
