Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) for Azure, a trusted advisor guiding enterprise customers through architecture, administration, and security of Databricks on Microsoft Azure. The role emphasizes hands-on design of secure, scalable deployments, IaC automation, and collaboration with Solutions Architects on complex technical sales cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical role with deep Microsoft Azure expertise.
• 2+ years in distributed architectures and big data tech.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Deep expertise in security, networking, or platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala and strong SQL.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on Azure deployments.
• Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments with Azure networking and identity controls.
• Support pre-sales with PoC architectures and technical content for Azure.
• Mentor and collaborate with Solutions Architects and field teams.
• Contribute to tutorials, hackathons, and open-source community.
