Shimadzu Scientific Instruments in Columbia, MD seeks a Service Product Manager for GCMS to lead service, repair, maintenance, installation and customer support across the GCMS product line. You will mentor field personnel, partner with marketing and sales, manage service operations, and help drive product lifecycle success while ensuring high-quality technical service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of instrument repair experience is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience supervising technical personnel is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of GCMS instrumentation and related instrument service is required.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and support the installation of analytical instrumentation is required.
• Experience training, mentoring, and developing technical personnel is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership for repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of GCMS products.
• Lead and mentor service personnel to promote high-quality service delivery and customer experience.
• Evaluate skills of service personnel, identify training needs, and assist with performance evaluations.
• Provide customers and Shimadzu personnel with technical support, documentation, and guidance for repairs and installations.
• Ensure repairs and related service activities are documented and reported; recommend improvements.
• Develop and manage Dynamics 365 Field Service functions and service pricing for assigned products.
