Fogo de Chão in Austin, TX is seeking a Gaucho Chef to prepare and cook prime cuts of beef and other meats in the traditional churrasco style, season and grill to guests’ requests, and present dishes with the Brazilian gaucho flair. Qualifications

• Must stand for long periods and work weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook beef and other meats according to traditional churrasco recipes.
• Season and grill according to prescribed method and guests' requests.
• Portion, garnish and present dishes in gaucho style.
• Answer guests’ questions about churrasco and gaucho culture.
• Maintain grill area cleanliness and organization.
• Complete opening or closing shift duties.
