Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a qualified Gateway Operations Supervisor. The role arranges the movement of parcels by Air and Ground, encompassing international import and export operations, at our US facility.

You will supervise airport ramp operations, back office staff, and liaison with US Customs and DHL Imports to ensure correct processing of shipments, maintain quality, manage KPIs and budgets, and develop staff in a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 2+ years’ supervisory experience and background in operations.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Valid Driver’s License and a driving record meeting standards.
• Pass pre-employment background, drug and medical screening.

Responsibilities

• Expedites daily activities of operational functions to satisfy clients and profitability.
• Supervises airport ramp operations and cargo handling with compliance rules.
• Supervises warehouse sort operations for international shipments.
• Manages back office staff, flights monitoring, and network updates.
• Liaises with US Customs and DHL Imports to ensure correct processing.
