Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a Gateway Operations Supervisor to coordinate the movement of parcels by air and ground, including international import and export operations. The role requires supervising 8-12 staff, hiring and training, and ensuring adherence to policies while optimizing productivity.

Key responsibilities include expediting daily operations, ensuring client satisfaction, and managing KPIs and budgets.

Qualifications

BS/BA and 2 years’ experience in related field, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets Driving Privileges standards
Candidate must pass pre-employment background, drug, and medical physical screening

Responsibilities

Expedites the daily activities of all operational functions ensuring client satisfaction is achieved and policies followed.
Supervises day-to-day airport ramp operations and loading/unloading of cargo aircraft with compliance.
Supervises warehouse sort operations for international import/export shipments.
Monitors flights and communicates network status to maintain operations.
Develops and manages relationships with Business Partners and staff.
Assists in annual budget preparation and drives process improvements.
