ADESA is seeking a vigilant Security/Gate Attendant at our Minnesota facility. You will guard gates, assist customers and vendors, verify vehicle access, and de‑escalate issues to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends. Excellent communication and data entry on handheld devices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Requires 18+ years of age and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Secure gates and buildings, patrol premises, and report emergencies.
• Verify authorized entry for customers, vendors, and transports.
• Check gate passes and departing vehicles to prevent theft.
• Greet customers at the gate and resolve complaints promptly.
• De-escalate conflicts to maintain positive partnerships.
• Maintain equipment and handheld devices, report maintenance needs.
• Maintain professional appearance and teamwork within the site.
• Communicate with auction team members and leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
