Job summary

ADESA is seeking a gate/entry security role at our Minnesota facility. The position is hourly with weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday 6am-2pm) and pays $19–$21 per hour. You will greet customers, verify access, and monitor property safety while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include securing premises, handling incidents, and communicating with team members to ensure smooth operations. Prior experience in security and data entry is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Requires computer data entry skills.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Secure all gates and buildings and patrol the premises; sound alarms and notify authorities in case of emergency.
• Verify only authorized individuals enter the property and provide directions to customers and vendors.
• Check gate passes to ensure vehicles are authorized to exit property; guard against theft.
• Greet customers at the gate and provide prompt and courteous service; resolve complaints calmly.
