Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs in Saginaw, Michigan seeks a board-certified gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive GI care in outpatient settings at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center.

The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and manage diseases of the GI tract, including liver, pancreas, and biliary systems, and will supervise students and residents. This role also involves teaching, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in VA education loan repayment programs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified GI with US state license.
• GI residency approved by ACGME/AOA.
• Experience teaching residents or students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care and manage GI diseases.
• Perform and supervise diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
• Educate patients and supervise trainees and residents in the clinical setting.
