Job summary

Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in Green Bay, WI seeks a full-time Gastroenterologist to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the GI tract and liver. The physician will perform histories and physicals, endoscopy consultations, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for outpatient and, when needed, referral-based care.

The role includes performing endoscopic procedures and coordinating care with VA and non-VA centers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
• Residency in an accredited core specialty with board eligibility

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage gastrointestinal and liver disorders in adults
• Perform histories, physicals, endoscopy consultations, and develop treatment plans
• Conduct endoscopic procedures (EGD/colonoscopy) and related care in outpatient settings
• Coordinate care with VA and non-VA referral centers and oversee sedation administration
• Attend staff meetings and participate in committees and CME as required
