VA St. Louis Health Care System seeks a Full-time Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive GI care within the Specialty Care Service at the John Cochran Division.

The role involves inpatient and outpatient management, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and teaching responsibilities with Washington University and Saint Louis University affiliated trainees. The position offers opportunities for involvement in research, education, and VA incentives, including potential loan-repayment

Formación

• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in US/DC.
• Residency in an accredited core specialty with board eligibility.
• English language proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical evaluation and overall management of GI patients in collaboration with the health care team.
• Deliver outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services including consults.
• Diagnose and manage GI and hepatobiliary diseases using standard methods.
• Perform GI procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy.
• Supervise education of residents and medical students; participate in research as assigned.

Educación

Doctor of Medicine degree

Full and unrestricted medical license

Residency in core specialty with board eligibility

Proficiency in English
