Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Gastroenterologist to deliver comprehensive GI care at the Aleda E. Lutz Medical Center in Saginaw, MI.

Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation for diseases of the GI tract, including endoscopic procedures, with supervision of trainees as needed. Applicants should have an MD/DO with GI board eligibility or certification and strong English communication; participation in EDRP and related incentives is noted.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and full medical license in the United States.
• Board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology preferred.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in outpatient settings.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic endoscopy and related procedures.
• Develop management plans and coordinate care for adult GI patients.
• Supervise medical students and residents as assigned.
