Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established Nassau County group on Long Island. The role involves outpatient, high-volume GI care with board-certified or board-eligible physicians, in a physician-led, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will perform colonoscopies and EGDs, develop individualized treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. NY licensure is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality gastroenterology care.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments including history, exams, labs, imaging, and pathology.
• Manage a high-volume, full-scope GI practice in outpatient settings.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, and biliary pathology.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with pharmacological and lifestyle approaches.
• Perform and interpret colonoscopies and EGDs for early detection and management.
• Maintain accurate EMR to support workflow and patient safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and chronic liver disease management.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice-improvement initiatives.
