Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, physician-led group in Nassau County, Long Island.

The role emphasizes high-quality outpatient GI care within a multi-specialty team, with flexible hours, Monday-Friday, and no on-call requirements. The candidate should be board-certified (or eligible) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, licensed in New York, and capable of building a thriving local practice while embracing value-based

Qualificações

• Active Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, or board-eligible with a clear path to certification.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality gastroenterology care.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments including history, exams, and data interpretation.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group with a high-volume patient base.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, and biliary issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans combining pharmacology and lifestyle changes.
• Perform and interpret screening procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation to support workflow and safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease prevention.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
