The Recruiting Hive in New York seeks a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, physician-led group in Nassau County, Long Island. The role emphasizes high-quality GI care within a multi-specialty team and an outpatient-focused, full-scope GI practice.

Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, no call, with opportunities to take on leadership roles while collaborating with surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.

Qualifications

• Active Board Certification (or eligible) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in delivering gastroenterology care.
• Conduct thorough history, exams, and interpret diagnostic data.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group with high-volume patients.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD/IBS and liver disease.
• Develop treatment plans combining pharmacology and lifestyle changes.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs for screening and management.
• Maintain accurate EMRs to support workflow and safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and chronic liver disease management.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
