Tal Healthcare is assisting a well-established gastroenterology practice in Suffolk County, Long Island, seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a dedicated team focused on exceptional patient care and work-life balance.

The position emphasizes physician autonomy, strong infrastructure, and long-term career growth, with a four-day work week (36–40 hours) and a path to partnership after about two years. Board-certified/board-eligible candidates with 4+ years of outpatient GI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in outpatient GI practice, with preference for high-volume settings.
• Strong clinical decision-making and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to work independently with dedicated clinical support to minimize admin burdens.
• Interest in long-term partnership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient GI consultations and procedures in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with PA and clinical staff to ensure streamlined patient care and follow-up.
• Perform procedures at the affiliated ambulatory surgery center.
• Support a positive practice environment with potential for long-term partnership and ownership.
